Faith Gibson lives just outside Nashville, Tennessee with her husband and 4-legged kids. When she isn’t writing, she is either reading or riding her Harley. Writing has been a hobby of Faith’s since she was in high school, but just recently did she take the leap into the wide world of authordom. ♤♤TaSTy WordGasms♤♤ Author Interview
Author: Faith Gibson
Book: Double Stuffed Eclairs
Series: Sweet Things
Publisher: Dark Hollows Press
Q: What inspired you to start writing?
A: I’ve been writing since I was a teenager. I just have so much rolling around in my head I need to get it out and make room for more.
Q: What is your favorite genre to write? Read?
A: My favorite to write is paranormal. With it you can make stuff up and it be legitimate. When you design the world your characters live in, there are only the rules you make up. I read all genres with the exception of historical. Those are boing.
Q: What will we find on your bookshelves?
A: I have several authors that I have collected every book they’ve written, including Sherrilyn Kenyon, Karen Marie Moning and Janet Evanovich. I have the Cassandra Claire series and Harry Potter. There are various other books spread out over several genres.
Q: What writer/Book speaks to your soul?
A: There are several but Kristen Ashley and all her books, especially the Rock Chick series
A: I love the Hot Bunch and how they take care of the ladies. Yes, the chicks are strong too but all of her heros are the shit.
Q: What was your inspiration for the book?
A: For Double Stuffed Eclairs, I had written the prequel, Candy Hearts, for an anthology. I knew I would eventually make a longer story for Jesse and Dean but Annie was whispering in my ear about wanting her own story. So I (she) told it.
Q: Do you write from your own experiences?
A: Not yet. Most of what I write comes from dreams.
Q: Do you listen to music for inspiration when writing?
A: Sometimes, usually the music comes from the characters though.
Q: What type?
A: Again, it depends on the characters. They all listen to their own stuff so I will listen to that genre when I’m focused on a certain character.
Q: Which of your books/characters relates most to you?
A: That would be Tessa. You will meet her in the upcoming Series, The Stone Society”. Tessa is a foul-mouthed redhead who rides a Harley.
Q: What message, if any, would you like readers to get from your book?
A: In my gay books, I want the message to be Love is Love. There is not enough love in the world and people should be able to love whomever they want with no repercussions. In the other books, I just want everyone to be entertained. My books are otherworldly and hopefully fun. Take a break from reality and enjoy the ride.
Q: What book do you wish you had written yourself?
A: Harry Potter. It is bloody brilliant. I solemnly swear I’m up to no good.
Q: What would you like readers to know about you?
A: I write because I enjoy it. I would love one day to be among the ranks of Kristen Ashley and Sherrilyn Kenyon and Harper Sloan. But if only one person reads my books and enjoys them as much as I do, I’ve accomplished what I set out to do. Entertain.
Q: What are you working on now?
A: The Stone Society is a shape shifter series. Rafael is the first book and it is being edited as I type this. Hopefully it will be out by Thanksgiving. I have already started on the 2nd book, Gregor.
Q:Do you Have any tattoos or piercings?
A: At present I have ten tattoos and my ears are pierced. I plan on at least one more large ink piece.
Q: IRL, do you like a partner with tattoos or piercings?
A: If it suits the person. My husband has neither but I’m ok with that.
Q: Have you been with a partner with genital piercings? Or tattoos?
A: wouldn’t you like to know! lol.
…TW comnent….such a tease you are Faith
Q: Do you play a musical instrument?
A: Yes, I play the hell out of the air drums.
Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions. We look forward to reading, reviewing and featuring your next book!

Series: Sweet Things Author: Faith Gibson
Release Date: September 11, 2014
Genre: Contemporary Romance/Suspense
Reviewer: Nikki K
Stars (O’s): OOOO As a teenager,
Annie Mae Dalton didn’t date much. But that didn’t mean she didn’t have any fun with the boys. In fact, she had fun with 2 very cute boys, Marcus and Scott. The three were inseparable. They did everything together.
After graduation Marcus and Scott go off to college together, leaving Annie behind to study for their careers in law enforcement. Annie’s mother gets ill so she and her twin brother Jesse take over, the family business, Sweet Things bakery.
When the sister of Annie’s employee goes missing, Marcus, an FBI agent and Scott, Atlanta PD detective, team up in the search for the missing girl. This case brings the three old friends back together for the first time in years. Although Scott married after college, he never quite got over his high school love. Being back in Clarksville with Annie and Marcus reminds him of the love he left behind all of those years ago.
As soon as Marcus sets foot Sweet Things he is brought back to the old days. Catching first sight of Annie, she is more beautiful than he remembered. All he wanted was to reach out and touch her. When Annie doesn’t respond in kind, Marcus focuses on the task at hand, finding the missing girl.
Although Annie never forgot her time with Marcus and Scott, she moved on with her life. She never had long term, serious relationships, but she did carry on a steamy, secret affair with Mitch the sexy, tatted, bad boy biker, oh yeah he’s Marcus’s older half brother.
These three men being back in Clarksville at the same time, turned the one time love triangle into Annie squared. Life just got a whole lot more complicated as the affair with Mitch is not the only thing Annie has been hiding.
Take a small town bakery, 3 HOT dudes, one sexy Annie, reveal a secret or two and add a heaping dose of suspense and what you’ve got is a recipe for a great book.
With the release of Candy Hearts earlier this week and now Double Stuffed Eclairs, Faith Gibson has proven herself a wonderful story teller. Her writing style will have you feeling you want to keep reading. And like with every Sweet Thing, after the last bite, you want more!
I fell in love with Mitch, who would you choose?
