Tanya’s Review: 4.5 stars Wow! I just got finished reading The Prince of Punk Rock and I really enjoyed this very HOT read by Jenna Galicki. If you decide that you would like to read this book be warned there is some very HOT male on male action. Tommy Blade is married to Jessie and he is bisexual. He finds that he has fallen in love with the lead singer Angel Garcia in the Immortal Angel band. Jessie has known that Tommie was bi and she wants to keep her man so she lets Angel in their marriage and finds she is falling in love with Angel. But, Angel is gay and really wants no part of Jessie sexually although, they do fool around a bit. I do feel that Jessie has to keep making concessions in her marriage because she doesn’t want to lose Tommy and I hope that she actually becomes a stronger person in the next book. That is enough of the story telling because I don’t do spoilers but, you should get the drift.I really liked the story and lord knows The Prince of Punk Rock is a VERY HOT read! I had to fan myself a few times because it is very steamy! The book ends on a little cliffie (not a major one) Fortunately for me I am ready to get started reading book 2 in the Radical Rock Stars Series and it is out and ready for me to start. I received a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review and I give The Prince of Punk Rock 4.5 stars. Now it is time for me to start reading “Between A Rock and A Hard Place (Radical Rock Stars Book 2). Nikki K’s 4.5 Star Review The Prince of Punk Rock tells a story of unconventional love, jealousy, and friendship. Sometimes being in love with someone means loving them and trusting them enough to allow someone else to share their heart and your bed. Jesse sees that Tommy loves her, but she also sees he needs more.
Never wanting to label Tommy’s sexual proclivities, Jesse suggests bringing in a third to feed Tommy’s hunger. Not until Tommy joins the band Immortal Angel, do they realize his true nature is bisexual. Joining this Punk Rock band fills more than Tommy’s musical soul, it fills the empty part of his heart. The part that only Angel can fill.
As a lover of both Rocker Romance and M/M, I was hooked by this book. Author Jenna Galicki has written a sexy, yet difficult story. The emotions, this book elicit run the gamut from lust to hate. More than once I was moved to tears by the turmoil ever present in the lives of this open-minded trio.
I really enjoyed The Price of Punk Rock and the underlying theme of love, trust, and tolerance. I rate this book a 4.5.
I received a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review
Theresa’s Review: 3.5 Stars Tommy is in a band. Tommy is bisexual, and his wife Jessi allows him to enjoy other men. Her rule is the encounters can only be one-night stands. Only she can have his heart. This arrangement seems to work for them, and it’s their secret. Through certain circumstances, Angel Garcia enters their lives, and nothing is the same. Tommy is immediately attracted to Angel, and the feeling is mutual. Jessi sees this isn’t like Tommy’s usual hook-ups. She sees Angel as a threat to their marriage, and is not happy about him being around. Until she finds herself falling for the loud and proud rocker.
A marriage with two people is tough enough, add a third, and it’s even tougher. Through all the ups and downs, these three people discover things about themselves and each other. Maybe they were meant to be together. I really enjoy reading M/M books, and this one was definitely different. I liked the rocker storyline. And the sex was really, really hot!
The Prince of Punk Rock is the first book in the Radical Rock Stars series.
I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 3.5 stars. Lita’s Review: 3.0 stars The Prince of Punk Rock (Radical Rock Star #1) by Jenna Galicki
Book one introduces the readers to Tommy Blade and his wife Jessi. Tommy is a gifted guitarist and is able to fulfill his dream of playing in a band due to wife. Jessi is the rock of the family and has done everything she can to make Tommy’s dream come true. She is his biggest cheerleader so much so she is the only one with a job and even quit fashion school in her last semester. Jessi is the only woman he has ever been with and loves her dearly, however Tommy likes sleeping with men. When a new band is looking for a new guitarist Tommy ends up playing for Immortal Angels. The front man for the band is charismatic Angel Garcia and he is openly gay. Angel has an eye for Tommy and their chemistry on stage is something to behold. They both feel the electricity between each other and they definitely want to explore their relationship. Because Jessi loves Tommy so much she has given her blessings to bring Angel not only into their bed but their family. This is their story. It is a strange and emotionally taxing relationship considering Jessi loves Tommy with all her heart and likes Angel physically, Tommy loves both Jessi and Angel physically and emotionally and because he is truly gay he loves Tommy to the utmost but Jessi physically he cannot stand the touch of her but loves her emotionally. This is their struggle especially for Tommy who is stuck in the middle. I can say I struggle with what Jessi was willing to endure to make Tommy happy. Definitely could not get next to what she put up with but I can say the author’s graphic scenes between the 3 of them was something. I give this story 3 stars.
Tanya’s Review: 4.5 stars Let me just say I am really enjoying reading the Radical Rock Stars Series. What you need to know is that this is a menage book with MMF, MF, MM erotic romance. If this isn’t what you like to read then don’t buy the book.Between a Rock and a Hard Place is the continuation of Tommy & Jessie Blade & Angel Garcia. Theirs is not a typical relationship. Tommy is bisexual and married to Jessie. Angel is the third in their marriage. Angel is gay he really doesn’t want to do much with Jessie although he has fooled around a little with her too and actually more in this book than in the first book in this series. What they find is that it isn’t easy to make a relationship like this work. They all have to get on the same page and all 3 have to work at making this relationship arrangement work. Oh and while they are working on their marriage the sexual encounters are Hot, Hot, Hot! Between a Rock and a Hard Place is about conflicts & jealousy. Life is full of “tough choices” and the 3 or them have to work at keeping their relationship intact. I can see why this might be a problem. I got my HEA although, their story will continue in Punk Rock Resurrection. I received a complimentary copy of Between a Rock and a Hard Place for an honest review and I give this story 4.5 stars.
Nikki K’s Review: 4 Stars
The Sexy Trio of Jesse, Tommy, and Angel return in the 2nd edition of Radical Rock Stars Series.
Immortal Angel has hit the big time. Tommy, Angel and the rest of Immortal Angel are about to embark on their first World Tour. Jesse has been a part of Tommy’s musical career since the beginning. She has given up her dreams to help him pursue his. The only problem is, Angel was never HER dream.
When Jesse realizes her unique fashions for the band have sparked interest with the public, she decides it’s her turn. Rather then following Tommy and Angel to Asia, Jesse follows her dream. She returns to college to get her degree in Fashion design. Will Jesse’s step towards her goal of opening her own boutique and designing her own line of clothing cause a rift between her and Tommy? Or will it bring them closer?
Author Jenna Galicki has once again infused heavy emotions with deep desire certain to keep the reader wanting more. The Love affair between Tommy and Jesse is stressed in this edition and Jenna shows the ugly side of poly relationships. That being said, the sex scenes in Between a Rock and a Hard Place left me needing to be near a hard place 😉
If like me you are into tatted, sexy rocker dudes, and emotional rollercoasters, then this book is sure to strike a chord.
I really enjoy reading about Jenna’s punk rockers and I give this book 4 stars.
I received a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review.
Theresa’s Review: 3.5 stars And so the story from The Prince of Punk Rock continues. The band’s success continues, and they’re about to go on a world tour. Bad news: Jessi has to miss the beginning of this tour, and that means Tommy and Angel are on their own.
When Jessi makes it back to the guys, they’ve got their groove and routine going, and Jessi feels out of place. She doesn’t like it, and is resentful of the relationship. Angel does his best to keep everyone happy, but sometimes fails miserably. Anything worth having usually takes a lot of work. For me, this book was way more emotional. You get to really see and feel their struggles, worries, but there is some fun. After all, they are rockers!! On top of their burgeoning superstar status, can they really handle all the work this relationship will no doubt require?
Between a Rock and a Hard Place is the second book in the Radical Rock Stars series.
I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 3.5 stars. Lita’s Review: 3.5 Stars Between A Rock and A Hard Place (Radical Rock #2) by Jenna Galicki
Bok 2 is a continuation of their story. Immortal Angels has made it big and is getting ready to embark on a tour of Asia. There is one problem Jessi will not be able to make the tour since she has decided to do something for herself. She has went back to finish her fashion degree and wants to open her own store with her own creations. While at home in the States she has to deal with being home trying to focus on her schooling she has to endure photos in the papers with captions insinuating things regarding Tommy and Angel being together without their wife. Once she joins the European part of their world tour the pressures of getting her store open, still helping with working with the band and her insecurities of the time Angel and Tommy spent together are taking a toll on their relationship. Than when the band’s new manager is putting pressure on them to cut an album while on tour which leaves Jessi by herself while Angel and Tommy are forced to spent more time without her she is almost at wits end. When she is told there are issues at her store she goes back to the States without telling Tommy she was leaving. This action causes a chain reaction that could destroy the band in the middle of the tour and the album. This is what they go through to save their family. There are more graphic sex scenes between the 3 of them and they are quite hot. I give this story 3.5 stars.
Tanya’s Review: 4.5 stars Wow I just finished reading Punk Rock Resurrection. This is Damian Hardy & Alyss Taylor story. I really felt for Damian Hardy. He later changes his name and you will see why once you read this book. He had a horrible life growing up with a mother that never loved him and felt he was an imposition. His mother kicked him out on his 18th birthday. Alyssa is one bad a** woman. She is a strong woman and I loved her character. And, the story continues from there. I can’t say more because I don’t do spoilers. At least I don’t intend to. Damian is really a very nice guy with a lot of anguish! Oh and really “Elvira” I loved her. (I can’t say who or what she is because again no spoilers).I really enjoyed reading this book. And as Jenna said you could read it as a standalone but, why would you because you will understand more about the characters that were written in the first 2 books. #1The Prince of Punk Rock and #2Between A Rock and A Hard Place. This book originally was an ARC for me. But, when I found out it was also on Kindle Unlimited I also got it through Amazon so that it could be a verified purchase. Anything to help out our Author friends. I give Punk Rock Resurrection 4.5 stars.
Oh and another book will be out soon by Jenna Galicki: Radical Rock Stars, Book 4 and this one is about Jimmy Wilder Coming Fall 2015. 🙂 Theresa’s Review: 4.0 stars Damien Diamond is the bassist for Immortal Angels. He had a rough upbringing, and until Angel helps pull him from his black hole of drugs and alcohol, he was still having a hard time with life.
Alyssa is exactly what Damien needs; someone who isn’t impressed with his persona and will tell him exactly what’s on her mind. She sees him for who he really is, not that hardened, badass bassist. Without giving too much away, Alyssa allows Damien to put his tough act on the shelf for a bit while she manages things. He’s been through so much, and he finally finds a way to deal with his past without chemical dependency.
More hot sex and a really good story line. You get to see where Immortal Angels began. I kinda hoped Damien was getting his own story when I read the previous books in this series, and I was pleased to find out he did.
Out of the entire series, this is definitely my favorite. Punk Rock Resurrection is the third book in the Radical Rock Stars series.
I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 4 stars. Lita’s Review: 4.5 stars
Punk Rock Resurrection (Radical Rock Star #3) by Jenna GalickiBook 3 is the story of Immortal Angels bass guitarist Damian Diamond and how he met Angel, his wife and why his wife will leave him if he gets back involved with drugs and alcohol. Damian has had a hard life. Growing up he had to endure an alcoholic mother who was distant and cold. She was emotionally and physically abusive. At a certain age his only salvation was a bass guitar which he worked for at the local music store and used as a life preserver in a life of hell. Unfortunately he also found his mother’s pills and alcohol as a way to deal with the pain. Once his mother put him out at the age of 18 he found himself living on the streets. It was on the streets his friendship with Angel had been cemented. Playing the bass for the Immortal Angels, his friendship with Angel and his job at the tattoo parlor where he worked was all he had in his life. One day while at his job at the Tattoo parlor the new piercer show up Alyssa. Damian is smitten with her. This is his story of how he made Alyssa his wife and how he was able to get clean. Damian is a heart wrenching story when you learn what he had to endure and the head trips his mother placed on him. My heart went out to him and I loved his journey to finding love with Alyssa. I can say I enjoyed this book the best out of the 3 and I am looking forward to the next book which is the drummer’s story Jimmy. I give this story 4.5 Stars.
Nikki K’s review: 4.0 OOOO’s (O’s for Orgasms)
PUNK ROCK RESURRECTION Radical Rock Stars: Book Three Author: Jenna Galicki The old adage “don’t judge a book by its cover” certainly works for Damien Hardy. His PUNK ROCK image would lead one to think he is no more than a rebellious irresponsible punk. In reality he is a sweet, gentle musician who happens to like blue mohawks and the Ramones. Damien’s childhood was lacking in many ways but most of all in love. Never did he ever think love would be a factor in his life, unless you’re talking about the love of his bass guitar. Alyssa Taylor is a goth goddess with a sadistic sensibility. A one time nursing student, she finds she has a penchant for sticking people with needles. Realizing her talents are better served in a nontraditional profession, Alyssa embarks on a career as a piercer in a Tattoo studio. The same studio that Damien works in for tips and free ink. As a free spirit, Alyssa was not looking for love or a relationship, but she didn’t run from it when she found it. As soon as the two meet, it’s instant chemistry. Never is the question “if”, but only “when”?! When will their punk and goth worlds collide? Will they be able to overcome Damien’s demon’s from his past. Is Alyssa able to overlook the black heart displayed on his chest in favor of the living man beneath the colorful surface? My only critique is that the level of pain and torment that Damien displays seems disproportionate to the details we are given of his past. I know it is macabre to say I was looking for the real pain to be brought to the surface, but that’s what I did. I would have liked a more detailed account of the real abuse he suffered. It would have made his actions more understandable. However, the depth of his emotional state is very evident and his need for love and acceptance is heartbreaking. Overall I enjoyed the story of Alyssa and Damien’s blossoming love. While I love the “Alpha males”, seeing a vulnerable man able to let his submissive side be shown was hot. When he allows Alyssa to take command of their sex life, I must admit to being nearly as excited as Damien. If you like hot tattooed rockers, kinky sex and a Domme with a soft side, you’ll really enjoy Punk Rock Resurrection. ** I was provided an ARC for an honest review.
